Quality and individuality are important to us, therefore, we do not mass-produce any garments.

ABOUT KARIN YAMADA

Born in Tokyo, Japan, Karin discovered her passion for art at a very young age. Following her older sister, Karin began dancing ballet at the age of five. At the age of seventeen she left home to further pursue her dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer in the United States. 

Upon graduating North Carolina School of the Arts in 2005, she joined Charleston Ballet Theatre. In 2009, she moved across country to join City Ballet of San Diego as a company dancer where she enjoyed performing numerous roles. In 2015, she began making her own dancewear as a hobby which led her to become a costume designer.

Being a dancer and a performer herself, she knows exactly what dancers need and want. Karin's focus is to create garments that artists feel the best of themselves in.

She has been privileged to offer her service to City Ballet of San Diego and many local dance schools and fitness studios in San Diego area, as well as to artists all over the world.
